The wireless controller allows you to play your Xbox whereever you want in your house, up to about 30 foot from the 360. It requires 2 AA batteries, lasting you up to about 40 hours. There is no lag between button presses either thanks to Bluetooth technology, so a wired pad offers no advantage. Vibration feedback is also present, and an Xbox 360 Live Headset can be plugged in easily at the bottom. If batteries are too much for you, what with having to always change them, you could purchase the Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, allowing you to charge as you play.
