Summary
For the first time ever, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland gives players the freedom to experience continuous skating and BMX biking action without leaving the game or waiting for load times as they explore and choose missions in a massive, living Los Angeles skate world.
Reviews
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is the best game the series has seen since Pro Skater 4. Its return to the purer aspects of skating is quite welcome, and the game feels much more focused as a result. The Xbox 360 version of the game is really nothing more than a port of the current-gen versions, with upgraded textures and a bit of normal mapping. Sure, it's the best looking version available, though the game does very little to take advantage of the system's power. Still, while it's a little disappointing that this is "all" we got for the 360, it's still a great game through and through, and one you should pick up if you don't already own it. IGN.com
