Development studio helmed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. According to Sakaguchi, Mistwalker is a pure game development studio that is focused primarily on creating original RPG titles while leaving the publishing side of the business to other companies. The first projects out of Mistwalker became exclusive titles for Microsoft on the next-generation Xbox 360.
