The Memory Unit (MU) is a 64MB piece of kit that can transfer things such as saved games and profiles from one Xbox 360 to another. As with the Xbox 360 Hard Drive, it loses some space for caching and things, and is reduced to 56MB. It was designe mainly for the Core users in mind, who could not get an Xbox 360 Hard Drive after the launch. It allows for several saved games to be stored, as well as one, maybe two at a stretch, XBLA games to be stored on it.
