Summary

The legendary board game from the mind of Klaus Teuber is coming to Xbox Live! Arcade. Developed by Brian Reynolds and Big Huge Games, Catan is slated for release in Q1 2007!

Catan places players in the roles of colonists on the newly-discovered imaginary island of Catan. Through strategy and trading, 3-4 players vie for control over the valuable territory and resources of this uncharted wilderness. The design is so elegant you can teach someone to play in minutes and then spend years trying to master it.

1. Settler of Catan - 10 points Build a settlement in any game of Catan.

2. Scholar of Catan - 10 points Win a Single-Player game against three AI opponents set to Moderate.

3. Villager of Catan - 10 points Collect 25 Victory Points as you play Catan; points are tracked across games.

4. Ambassador of Catan - 10 points Invite someone into a game of Catan.

5. Builder of Catan - 20 points End any game of Catan in possession of the Longest Road card 10 times.

6. Knight of Catan - 20 points End any game of Catan in possession of the Largest Army card 10 times.

7. Merchant of Catan - 20 points Acquire 100 resource cards in trade in any game of Catan.

8. Professor of Catan - 20 points Win a Single-Player game against three AI opponents set to Hard.

9. Citizen of Catan - 20 points Collect 100 Victory Points as you play Catan; points are tracked across games.

10. Elder of Catan - 20 points Collect 250 Victory Points as you play Catan; points are tracked across games.

11. Statesman of Catan - 20 points Collect 500 Victory Points in ranked match play.

12. Chancellor of Catan - 20 points Collect 1000 Victory Points in ranked match play.
